Using Fugawi Navigation Software and iNavX for iPhone™
TORONTO,
Canada – Software manufacturer Northport Systems
Inc. announced today the addition of Hilton’s Realtime-Navigator
support to its online Fugawi
X-Traverse collection for use with Fugawi™ navigation
software, iNavX for Apple iPhone™ and MacENC for Apple OS

gives users an unparalleled set of ocean condition tools to identify
fish holding locations. The ultimate saltwater fishing tool, Fugawi
X-Traverse provides users of the iPhone, PCs or Macs with the most
up-to-date water condition detail.
Hilton’s Realtime-Navigator provides boaters with unlimited
access to the latest sea surface temperature, altimetry, water color
and surface currents, allowing anglers to plan and implement strategies
to locate favorable conditions for targeting desired fish species.
Fugawi X-Traverse’s support for the innovative Realtime-Navigator
information allows users to see their GPS position on saltwater
maps using the popular iNavX
software for iPhone, Fugawi
Marine ENC navigation software for a PC or MacENC
software for Mac OS X.
“Hilton’s Realtime-Navigator gives the saltwater angler
a powerful new tool,” said Robin Martel, president of Northport
Systems. “Providing up-to-date maps of sea conditions as a
complement to our already broad feature set gives Fugawi X-Traverse
customers a tremendous advantage to help them target and catch fish.”
With the addition of Hilton’s Realtime-Navigator maps to its

directly from the internet to their navigation software. Ideal also

ocean current, color, temperature and altimetry tendencies that
often affect baitfish location. In addition, the Fugawi X-Traverse
data plan allows users to plot waypoints and save tracks in Fugawi
Marine ENC and transfer them to iNavX software on the iPhone, or
vice versa.
“This is a game-changer,” said Thomas Hilton, president
of Hilton’s Fishing Charts. “Our partnership with Fugawi
provides offshore anglers unparalleled abilities to use the latest
high-resolution water condition imagery to navigate to the most-productive
fishing grounds, while at the same time maximizing their time and
fuel efficiency.”
Hilton’s Realtime-Navigator maps are expected to be live in
the Fugawi X-Traverse system in May of 2009.
