coastal areas are included?
All U.S. coastal waters are built into the software. This includes

Which
Inland waters are covered?
Includes US portions only of the Great Lakes, Lake Champlain,
Finger Lakes, Ohio River, Cumberland River, Kanawha River, Allegheny
River, Green River, Illinois River, Missouri River, Tennessee
River, Mississippi River, Arkansas River, and the Tennessee-Tombigbee
Waterway.

Which
freshwater lakes are included?
Over 12,000 freshwater (inland) lakes within the United States.

What
about Canadian charts or lakes?
Navionics NavPlanner2 does not contain any Canadian navigation
chart or lake map data. Canadian charts and lakes purchased on
Navionics Plug-and-Play chips (after April 2010) may be viewed
in NavPlanner2 via the included Generic Multi Card Reader.
What
about Canada/US bordering lakes?
Lakes straddling the US/Canada border will be shown in full detail
on the US side only. The Canadian side of such lakes are not included.

chips (after April 2010) may be viewed in NavPlanner2 via the
included Generic Multi Card Reader.
What
about Navionics charts for the rest of the world?
Navionics
charts purchased on Navionics
Plug-and-Play chips after April 2010 may be viewed in NavPlanner2
via the included Generic Multi Card Reader. Navionics NavPlanner2
supports Navionics Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum+ format
charts.
Can
the included charts and lake map be uploaded to a GPS receiver
or chart plotter?
No. The included charts and lake maps are for use only with the
included PC software. With Navionics NavPlanner2 software one
can use the included charts and lake maps to plan a coastal cruise
or inland fishing trip on the PC, print paper copies of maps,
and create waypoints and routes. Only waypoints and routes may
be transferred to and from a GPS receiver or chart plotter. For

Can
I connect a GPS directly to my PC or laptop and view my position
in "real-time" using Navionics NavPlanner2?
No. Navionics NavPlanner2 is strictly for map viewing, printing
and waypoint creation for upload to a GPS or chart plotter. In
other words, Navionics NavPlanner2 is a powerful planning tool
for all on water activities.
Can
the included charts and maps be used in Fugawi Marine ENC for
"real-time" navigation?
No. To use Navionics charts within Fugawi Marine ENC, you must
purchase the charts on a Navionics
Plug-and-Play chip.
How
can I transfer waypoints to my iPhone?
You can transfer waypoints from Navionics NavPlanner2
to the iNavX App for iPhone
or the Fugawi iMap
application for iPhone if you subscribe to Fugawi
X-Traverse.
Can
I see the Navionics lake maps on my iPhone?
You can subscribe to optional Navionics charts for use
in iNavX. Click
