• WebMaps (Internet connection required)
  Web Maps allows you to download maps on-the-fly from a Map Server on the internet. Maps will be downloaded in the background and displayed on the screen as they complete downloading. Maps are cached, so downloading only needs to be done once.

  As you travel, PathAway will center the map on your position. When you exit the boundary of one map and enter another, PathAway can be setup to automatically switch to the new map. You can even have the software set to automatically zoom in to the map of highest detail when you reach it's boundaries. Great for when you're entering a destination point that requires precision detail.

How can I get my Fugawi compatible maps onto my Symbian Smart Phone?
Easy.

1. If you own Fugawi Global Navigator or Fugawi Marine ENC version 4.5, then upgrade at no charge to 4.5.5 here.
2. Install a Trial Version of the optional PathAway 5 GPS Software for Symbian
3. In Fugawi, open a map then click on the to Mobile|PathAway Symbian|Export map to PathAway menu.
4. Once you have evaluated the PathAway software, you can purchase a full license here

Are all my Fugawi or third party digital maps compatible with PathAway 5 GPS Software for Symbian?
Many Fugawi compatible digital maps will upload into PathAway for Symbian. There are two noteable exceptions:

- Any vector map, such as a Navionics charts, Garmin map, or the GMF Vector street map will be rasterized during transfer to PathAway

- There are some specific digital maps which are restricted from export to a mobile device due to a third party license requirement.

We strongly sugggest that you test the map export using the Fugawi and PathAway demo version BEFORE making your purchase.
