4. DVD Data Pack for USA (or Canada) fails to install in Fugawi Marine ENC.

Problem:
"DVD-DP-US-R3V1" USA Data Pack DVD – Vol. 1, Release 3 OR "DVD-DP-CA-R3V1" Canadian Data Pack DVD – Vol. 1, Release 3 will not complete installation through Fugawi Marine ENC.

Solution:
1. Ensure you are running Fugawi Marine ENC Ver. 4.5.12.1576 or later (update here).

2. Insert the Data Pack DVD – Vol. 1 into the DVD drive, and in Fugawi Marine ENC, select Maps|Install Data Pack, check mark all pertinent data, and click OK.

3. If you receive the error: "The following errors occurred while importing charts: US5VAM.000: Unable to Open S57 file. The data failed to install, try again", then simply run the Maps|Install Data Pack a second time.

4. Chart US4VAM.000 will be missing. However, if you need that chart, you may download it from http://ocsdata.ncd.noaa.gov/ChartServerV2.0/jsp/index.jsp.
