Navionics Multi Card Reader fails to read SD Cards.

Problem:
Some 2007 edition Navionics Secure Digital (SD) cards do not work
properly with the Navionics Multi Card Reader. The problem is related
to card bus speed on the newer (>1 GB) SD cards when being used
with a Navionics Multi Card Reader with firmware version N002. The
problem may be intermittent and on many systems the issue will not
be noticed and the card will function properly. Fugawi Marine ENC
users may notice that the program will not correctly index the card
and the charts cannot be properly configured in the Fugawi Marine
ENC map library.
Solution:
1. Navionics have issued a new version of the Navionics Multi Card
Reader firmware. (Firmware is the software program which is resident
inside the Multi Card.)
2. Download
and unzip the Navionics MultiCard Reader Firmware Version N005.

3. Connect your
Navionics MultiCard Reader to your PC.
4. Run the program
navionics_multi_card_reader_firmware_upgrade_utility_n005.exe and
follow the on-screen instructions.
Your Navionics
Multi Card Reader will now be updated and ready for use.
Navionics Multi
Card Readers shipped from Northport after July 1, 2007 contain the
latest firmware and do not need to be updated.
