After
downloading these files:
1. Ensure
that NavPlanner2 is installed on your PC from the original
DVD.
2. Close NavPlanner2 if it is open.
3. Apply the Program Update by double clicking on the file
download from the link above.
4. Apply the Data Update by unzipping the file NAVIONICS-NP22011DATA.zip
(download from the link above) and running the setup.exe file.
5.
Restart NavPlanner2.

This
beta version is being made available so that those users who
desire to participate in the testing process may do so. Experimental
features available in the beta version are not considered
to be part of the commercial package, but are provided
to users for evaluation, experimental, and special interest
purposes, and for us to receive
feedback regarding the new enhancements. Experimental
features may or may not appear in future
product releases and ongoing support for experimental features
cannot be guaranteed.
Eligibility:
This version is a free upgrade for all customers
who purchased NavPlanner2 from an authorized Navionics reseller.
Note - NavPlanner2 is not a free upgrade
for those users of the original NavPlanner.

Support added for Navionics “Freshest Data”
updates from SD or CF card. Reindexing needs to be performed
if you have updated the charts on your Plug-and-Play card using
the Navionics Freshest Data web update system. From Maps|Open
Maps|Navionics Plug-and-Play Chip, click the Reindex
button to force NavPlanner2 to clear the disk cache related to any
Plug-and-Play chip that is currently inserted into the card reader
and then perform a reindex of the data.
