Note:
Due
to
enhanced security of Microsoft® Vista® operating system,
software products designed for Windows® XP may fail when
installed in Vista. While Northport has extensively tested
Fugawi Version 4.5 in the Vista Operating System, some features
of Fugawi may not operate correctly under Windows Vista due
to issues with third party drivers or components which are
not in our control. We strongly recommend that customers download
the 4.5 upgrade and test it in Demo
Mode to ensure that all requirements are met
before purchasing the upgrade. The following features are
known not to work when Fugawi is installed
under the Vista operating system:
- NMEA
real time input from the Magellan Explorist GPS
- SoftMap
Version 1-4 map support
Customers
who notice any other issues with Fugawi operation in Microsoft
Vista are invited to report
the problem.

an upgrade to 4.5 for

Registered

Customers
who purchased
Fugawi Marine ENC on or after January 1, 2007 from an authorized
Fugawi reseller can
download the upgrade for free. This update will install
in your choice of English, Finnish, French, German, Italian,
Norwegian, Spanish or Swedish languages.
Customers
using Fugawi Marine ENC Ver. 4.0.x or 4.1.x and
who purchased before January 1, 2007 can download the update to
4.1.10 for free, (or purchase
an upgrade to 4.5). This update will install in your choice
of English, French, Spanish, German, Italian or Swedish
languages.

Topographic Maps - Garmin IMG format topo maps are now supported
(Note: Bluecharts are not supported) - A wide variety of freely
available third party topo maps can be downloaded from http://mapcenter.cgpsmapper.com/catalogue.php
(these maps are non commercial and privately made by GPS enthusiasts
- do not use for navigation and exercise caution as they may not
be free from errors)
- Upload Garmin Maps - Unlocked Garmin IMG maps may be uploaded

4 of Fugawi PDA Edition for Windows Mobile 5 released
